O'Reilly kindly contacted me about UseTheSource and offered me free, e-copies of the book Beautiful Code to give away to UseTheSource readers. I thought this was a fun, great idea and so O'Reilly has made available 5 copies of Beautiful Code.

So, here's how to enter this little competition. You need to register for UseTheSource, then you need to scour the web for some beautiful or interesting code or algorithm and submit it. If you are already registered, just make sure you have or do submit something.

At the same time, I hope you'll enjoy the site and enter into conversations with the people here.

On Monday, July 19 at 0800 BST I'll pick 5 people at random from the registered users who've submitted an item and they'll get a copy of the e-book. Make sure to put some sort of contact details in your profile so I can contact you.

PS I'll disqualify anyone who signs up and spams the site with irrelevant stuff. No prizes for spammers.

If you are not sure what UseTheSource is all about, read this: http://news.usethesource.com/item?id=1

What restrictions will you impose on shipping (I, for example, live in Latin America).

These are copies of the ebook and pretty much any format you can imagine. So they can be 'shipped' anywhere.
